To ensure that you have the longest vase life, we harvest our peonies at the “marshmallow stage” meaning they are still closed and will open in your warm home. So don’t be worried if they aren’t quite what you expect at first, they will open up before you know it and you will get to see that happen — which is pretty awesome! Enjoy!
